Life

So I was listening to "If today was your last day" by Nickelback-good band btw if you haven't already you should check them out- and it occurred to me that our society isn't created for us to be truly happy. The one cause is money. Without money we can't do what we want to, because we constantly have to think of the future and how we're going to pay our next bill or our mortgage. We can never live in the presentThat's why we can't play by the rules of society... We have to get an education and a career so that we may be financially secure and be able to break the routine of constantly thinking of the future.

Change We Achieved

So I know I'm like two days late in posting this but, I am so proud of our nation right now. It's like 8 years of possibly the worst time in our nations history and now not only did we make history by electing the first African-American president, but there is also hope that maybe there is a way out of this mess. Barack's speech just left me feeling so inspired that i know I'll definately be voting next year and every year following. Our country needed us to step up on Tuesday and we did, but now we must keep our awareness up and vote every year and hopefully make the next EIGHT years the best this nation has ever seen.

Metamorphasis

So it's my senior year and there are a lot of changes going on Like losing friendships I thought would last, developing others, choosing the college that i want to be in and there are also big changes going on that I have no control over like the elections all in all this is a crazy time for me where Me, my country and my life are all never going to be the same and sometimes its a little weird and scary looking at what might come out of it but I'm gonna embrace the change because i feel its making me a better person.

our country's crisis

Well things just get worse and worse everyday our economy's shot, there's no end to the war in sight and our representatives in congress find it okay to take a couple of days off to hit the golf course or whatever the fuck these a holes do while the people are losing homes and jobs. I'm really tired of this administrations lies and diggin us into a bigger hole every day, I'm sick of picking up the times or turning on the news and seeing Bush assuring the country that things will be better when he's the reason shit is so bad. Can't wait for Obama to take office that is the only hope that we have right now because obviously McCain who can drop dead at any second and Palin who seems like she should be speaking to third graders aren't up for the job. Anywayi just can't wait for the day Bush moves out of the white house 1.20.09 Can't wait :D
